The same thing happened with the Catholic church. They had a good thing going until someone decided it was a good idea to stop requiring mass be said in Latin. And in turn, someone once thought it was a good idea to let the masses read the Christian bible on their own, instead of getting their info from murals. And yet...the Church is still around. I think it's less, that it's free access etc.. It is more like, our education system has failed us in the past 25 years or so by openly becoming Marxist liberal indoctrination centers.
