It's running now

Here is what I did since you last heard from me, water changes on three aquariums, and clean the filters.


I prep the water in a 55 and 35 gallon food grade drums, which last two days


first tank is the Blue Talapia fry tank, become fingerling tank.


the second and third so far today was the Jaguar chichlid tanks.


I did a partial change on the 1000 gallon system a few days ago, so that can wait until tommorrow.


other tanks grow duckweed which feeds off the fish poop and the fish eat the duckweed.

except the Jaguars, they prefer a meat based diet

that's all for now, the pump on the big system is running, it was stuck and just got it going, a jacuzzi pump that was previously used in a hot tub.

update

It's still running, I just replaced the impeller a few weeks ago, it gets stuck because of gravel, something that needs to be dealt with, another screen in the plumbing should fix it.

He got back yesterday from work, a local firefighter/paramedic, took off somewhere


He may have just pulled up as I write this, let me look


nope, his dog is still my responsibility


paused to turn off the pump, but I'm back


my younger son just came down stairs, now he's running me an errand real quick, not quite out the door but almost, gone


quick mention


the water that comes out of the tanks is used for the small garden, tomatoe plants, swiss chard, different varieties of peppers, basil, lemon something that's supposed to be soothing, put it in vegetable smoothies a few times, cilantro went to seed, early peas went to seed, onions harvested, yellow and bunch
