Nope. Merely "Believing" in Jesus as the Son of God will get you nowhere. Satan and the Demons also know who Jesus is.

I don't need to summarize but how about first hand:

Jesus Said - “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

John 3: 16 is the gospel message in a sentence.
But if I am not allowed to quote the Bible, then it is simply this: Because God loved us he sent Jesus to pay the death penalty on our behalf so that our relationship with him could be restored for ever.
 Quoting: acinnc 77856080

You know nothing about Jesus beyond a few things from Scripture. If you actually knew Him, you would be far different than a Modern Milque Toast Arrogant Talker.

Tell me, how much does God love the babies and little children who throughout the ages have been sexually molested, literally cannibalized, and sacrificed to Satan and to Demon gods?

Where did it say to erect obelisks, to light up pine trees, to worship pyramids, to throw around all seeing eyes, to practice cannibalism, to encourage trannies, to engage in pedophilia, to foment war, genocide, must have missed that part. At least i still got the pope, he certainly has handled this well.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77829753

Did God tell the Pope to torture and murder people over whom the Pope had no authority to judge during The Inquisition?

The Pope(s) actions speak for themselves. All Poped are damned to Hell. They are filth.

The Gospel - Peter Ruckman

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 King James Version (KJV)

15 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72115085

Paul is speaking in Corinthians 15, not Jesus.

In fact, Paul wrote in 1 Cor. 7:12 "Speak I, not the Lord."

It is because today's average Christian can only mindlessly babble about "How The Bible and Jesus Seem to Be."

And, "How Excited I Am Just To Know I Am Saved By Grace Because Paul Said I Am!"

For Chtistians today, their Christian faith is just another add-on for their busy lives. A matter of making a pragmatic choice, like buying the right Stock in the Stock Market. And then managing it, then cashing it in later. They sport the packaging, but are empty inside.

Love the Lord your God with your whole heart, with all your mind and with all your strength.

Do into others, as you would have done unto yourself; Love your neighbor as yourself.

There that's two sentences.
 Quoting: St. Ranger

At least give credit to who said that:

Mark 12:30-31 New International Version (NIV)
30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’[a] 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
 Quoting: TGus 77715172

You are unable to literally love God with all your heart/mind/soul. If you did, you would follow exactly all of Jesus' Commands in His Sermon on the Mount.

Does it feel good to know this?

Apparently not.

And it's the bible itself that makes these promises... invest now and cash in later... invest in faith and cash in with eternal life.

Don't blame people for signing up for that deal.

And yeah..... tone it down. You aren't anyone's judge. We've all been judged already and we have all failed so what's your point again?

 Quoting: Real Patriot

Actually Jesus was not a Socialist.
Socialism requires the government to use a coercive force to redistribute the wealth among everybody. Even if the majority of the people receiving it, did nothing to deserve that money. It takes what it wants by force, not by volunteerism.

When Jesus tells somebody to go out and take care of the sick and the poor, he is saying for you to go out and voluntarily do it, and not to have a governing body. force you to do it.
If anything, Jesus is way more for voluntarism, than a socialism. Judaism as well as Christianity, promotes a work ethic, not a welfare one. It also believes that God and you are in control of your financial state, not the government or the economy.
