Here is simple. Either we are born vessels of wrath, fitted to destruction (goats), or vessels of mercy, prepared unto glory (sheep).

If you are a goat, it is because God made you a goat from the foundation of the world and that you will never come to Christ, nor will will you have a desire to...(if you're a goat). Goats cannot ever become sheep.

If you're a sheep, you WILL conform to the image of Christ and learn obedience to the truth. If you're born a sheep, you are lost until Christ brings you back into His fold.
