(OP) User ID: 77360012 United States 09/08/2019 03:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | very well-browned crust... not too dark, just right! did you crimp aluminum foil around it to get it that way! darn nice pie! I didn't use foil. I even pre-baked the crust for 10 minutes on 350. It's an almond flour crust, I used this recipe and a smaller pie dish so it would go further. [link to www.wholesomeyum.com (secure)] I also buttered and used parchment paper under the crust. Last Edited by By Owner Req on 09/08/2019 04:00 PM grass fed sardines |

(OP) User ID: 77360012 United States 09/08/2019 04:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Butter or lard in the crust? Condensed milk or heavy cream used in filling? Recipe...please? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77713188 Ghee, 1/4 cup in the crust, here is that recipe. [link to www.wholesomeyum.com (secure)] I baked a fresh pumpkin cut in half (scoop out seeds and give to squirrels) and baked on 350 for 40 minutes. the skin lifts right off after baking. [link to imgur.com (secure)] I used this recipe for the filling but I used all the pumpkin and I think there was more than the can has but I put the leftovers in the fridge to make something with it later. I used heavy whipping cream instead of coconut I also add some cloves in the seasoning and I did not use the black molasses. [link to www.wholesomeyum.com (secure)] grass fed sardines |
