very well-browned crust... not too dark, just right! did you crimp aluminum foil around it to get it that way!

I didn't use foil. I even pre-baked the crust for 10 minutes on 350. It's an almond flour crust, I used this recipe and a smaller pie dish so it would go further.

I baked a fresh pumpkin cut in half (scoop out seeds and give to squirrels) and baked on 350 for 40 minutes. the skin lifts right off after baking.

I used this recipe for the filling but I used all the pumpkin and I think there was more than the can has but I put the leftovers in the fridge to make something with it later. I used heavy whipping cream instead of coconut I also add some cloves in the seasoning and I did not use the black molasses.
