I had just returned from a business trip to Lagos, Nigeria on the previous day.

I was standing on the balcony of my high-rise apartment in NYC that morning, enjoying the beautiful NY skyline and harbor, direct line-of-sight to the WTC, when I saw the first plane hit.

So, I was quite rigid with amazement and shock for some minutes, when the second plane passed by.

This was so close that I could see right into the cockpit and there was this bearded guy inside. He looked out of the window, straight at me and we locked eyes.

He then opened his mouth wide and shouted something at me, though I could not hear the words, but I think it was "Aallahoo Akkbaar".....

I showed him my finger, and the plane passed by, that's about all.
