I was in the seventh grade and had no idea who Osama Bin Laden was or even what the word terrorism meant. I remember the words America is under attack circulating through the hallways. Being the naive children that we were we assumed the Chinese or Russians were bombing Manhattan. Who else could have attacked us? I understand why the 90’s are regarded as the great last decade. My how the world has changed.
