I was in my 2nd year of engineering program at the University. I walked into the main lobby and a huge crowd was around the TV, some were crying, I had no idea, was a beautiful fall day. I said to a guy beside me what happened he said one plane hit the towers, as soon as he said that the 2nd hit on the live feed. People wailed and started screaming and crying. I was in shock. A fella then said a plane was above Morgantown WV which was very close to where I was at that was the Shanksville plane I believe. We sat in class watching when the buildings fell down all of us knew instantly that 10,000 or more would die from environmental exposures to radiological products, asbestos, VOCs, dusts et. al, and sat in horror weeks later as the EPA sent people and residents to their deaths by telling them the air was ok to breath. ONe of our professors volunteered he came back silent knowing what our regulatory agencies were doing that was a crime. Spent the rest of the week barely in school mostly drinking and drugging ourselves back to a state of bliss as the lies and deceit led us into war. I knew then all my worst fears as a child watching Waco burn were correct, our government was rogue and the world was lead by satanic forces. It turned the worm for me, the next 3 years I was a hardcore MDMA ketamine seeker trying to find the light in all the wrong places.
