Two of the tallest strongest buildings in the world went into perfect free fall in less than 10 seconds without the use of expert demolition. But any bldg made to swing in the breeze is not strong... in fact IMO it's planned obsolescence and a guarantee for disaster. Stupid bldg architects... Smart but so stupid.  Not stupid, just evolving. No building is built to last forever, so planned obsolescence is considered in the design. The buildings were full of asbestos insulation, and the remediation was going to be very expensive. Hey, why not take advantage of not doing that, demolishing the buildings, getting huge insurance payouts, AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST use their destruction in a giant FF event. thought they were so smart...
