A country should be strong enough to defend itself. I'm not saying you need to go 1939 and launch an invasion. Rather, get your military back to where it needs to be. I would think its pretty embarrassing that the Bundeswehr has been often seen taking part in international security training events by using broomsticks instead of rifles, when everyone else is using actual firearms.
