Powell raised the rates too quickly - probably to stifle the TRUMP economy. We've also been doing Qualitative Tightening since the end of 2016 - so all the props that were given to the FAUXbama economy have been removed for TRUMP and the $4.1 trillion in QE is now flowing in the other direction.

I'm surprised the TRUMP economy has been as strong as it has given the attempts to kneecap TRUMP's economy.

So the Fed Reserve, which is a privately owned organization which enriches the JWO Bankers - makes money off the US National Debt interest by loaning the US Fed Govt it's operating capital.
If the lending rate to the US Fed Govt is reduced to 0% then the JWO doesn't make money off lending it to the Govt.

The Federal Reserve should get our interest rates down to ZERO, or less, and we should then start to refinance our debt. INTEREST COST COULD BE BROUGHT WAY DOWN, while at the same time substantially lengthening the term. We have the great currency, power, and balance sheet.....

Yes, I understand that the banks are going to a cashless society and that chips will be made mandatory to work, eat, live. I am not ignorant.
But lets get back on track for this thread.
Trump wants the Fed Reserve to reduce THEIR interest rate to zero.
This is good for America because the National Debt is financed by the Fed Reserve. The current interest on the National Debt that the Fed Reserve charges the Fed Government (and hence American taxpayers) exceeds the total income of the Federal Government every year.
In short, the interest on the debt is bankrupting the nation.
If the Fed Reserve reduces the lending rate to the US Fed Government to 0 then perhaps there is a chance to start reducing the debt.
I have tried to explain it simply - but it seems that most still don't get it or refuse to try to understand.
ORANGE MAN BAD syndrome has hit hard.

It would cost you money to have savings...banks would charge interest instead of paying you...

This will screw over current retired and those close to retirement.

It will also hurt the lower classes as bank fees will have to increase so the banks can make a profit.

Inflation will also increase which is bad for the lower and lower middle class workers.

It's good for business owners and people that want to borrow money but it's bad for everybody else.
