Notice how his tariffs almost always are either announced or take place right before a Fed meeting? The past plan for the Fed was to normalize interest rates when the economy normalized. It never did and can't normalize for most Americans because of the huge trade imbalances caused by countries like China or Mexico getting paid in US dollars but paying their expenses (COGS) in their own cheaper currency - hence the transfer of U.S. wealth. Once they see we're going tit for tat on interest rates and he gets fair trade agreements worked out our economy will normalize and so will interest rates.

The corporation and technology companies took a lot overseas and hid it so the gov. could not get a hold of it. That was taxes not paid, so the average person was taking up the slack for them. Now President Trump made the a one time deal to repatriate it back to the US with a lower rate, so they could keep more. This brought some companies back and for sure put money into the treasury. As congress was trying to spend it to their pocket as they had back years ago went a group found the congress critters hidden Swiss account and repatriated it back, first thing that happened, congress was spending it. One man quit because of what was happening, he said you could not work in congress to fix it, he would work from the outside. This was during Clinton's time as president.

If you did not know, Bush Sr,, Clinton, Bush Jr, and Obama were all on the same plan, the same team.

Would that not be negative rates on monies loaned to the government at higher rates than what they are charged to borrow from the Federal Reserve to begin with ? It should be even Steven since the money is coming from a quasi private government regulated business to begin with, right ? Our tax funded government is on the hook to bail out bank failures thru the FDIC or huge sweetheart loan "bailout" packages for those deemed too large to fail. I understand banks are a business when it comes to consumer loans and such but they enjoy loans from the Reserve at very reduced rates and in turn loan it out to other industry and individual at much higher rates and in many cases of consumer loans at what could be called predatory rates. Rates charged governmental loans could be reduced without any damage whatsoever to the Federal Reserve, direct cash loans instead of the purchase of goverment debt thru the purchase of bonds. Reserve the bond issues for public purchase by banks, foriegn governments, and the continued purchase by investment of the general public in long term purchases by 401K retirement plans and even smaller municipalities. The bond rates paid out now are in jeopardy with the push for zero and negative rates which could jeopardize the bond program and eventually result in a default situation. The Reserve should loan monies to the government in a program designed to strengthen the economy and not just profiteering, theoretically they can loan money to the US to float a bond, and by the purchase of the same bond get paid twice, then reloan that profit to their member institutions at reduced rates who then reloan it to consumers and industry at much higher rates. The Reserve profits again from those assets as banks are charged fees by the Reserve based on assets for their memberships. Double triple dealing and getting away with it while manipulating the world with poor policy decisions designed to control all of the above entities

As you are reading this post, the rich that have actually taken the time to learn and see what crypto currencies are all about are loading up..Bitcoin, litecoin, Ethereum..etc.

As fiat moves into the new digital asset class, it can leave behind the whole debt debacle and emerge into several different avenues.

Those into Bitcoin, from what I can gather, are the ones into DECENTRALIZED currency...out of the hands of anyone except themselves and can send it freely and very little cost and near instant transfer.

There are other coins out there gaining ground as well, but aren't as decentralized and still tied to the standard banking system as we know it...and there are plenty of people grouping in that arena as well. Some people preach Bitcoin and others XRP.

Funny, everything always has it's opposite.

I think you will have your choice at some point...either currency in the system or out of it...
