One thing 9/11 absolutely did do was it brought all the conspiracy sites to life forever. At the time I was a big fan of a different site which consisted of the Springy Guy, the guy with one nut [RIP] and the Lordy forever skeptic who ran the whole show. That site came to the immediate conclusion that this was all some type of deception and I remember most of the theories sprang from there. I don’t remember that I had discovered GLP until a year or 2 later or I just didn’t find i heart GLP YET.
