In one of the most hotly-anticipated biographies of the year, “Steve Jobs,” author Walter Isaacson reveals that the Apple CEO offered to design political ads for President Obama’s 2012 campaign despite being highly critical of the administration’s policies and that Jobs refused potentially life-saving surgery on his pancreatic cancer because he felt it was too invasive. Nine months later, he got the operation but it was too late.

Those are just some of the tidbits about Jobs’ life revealed in the biography. Highly likely he had HIV but he died from his cancer (which could have been a side result of AIDs, ie: much lower resistance to any other diseases)

I would say the odds are greater than 80% that was at least bi-sexual, and he could have actually been almost entirely gay.

Having been around a lot of professionals who are gay I have noted that there are certain mannerisms and ways of thinking, including creativity in the artistic arena, that if the person exhibits those they are 90% or so likely to be gay. Jobs had those specific key traits in spades.

The San Francisco Bay area being a hotbed of the Homosexual crowd during the time Jobs was in his 20's through 40's if he had any leanings in those directions he would have at least "experimented" with that lifestyle. Unfortunately the San Francisco area was also a hotbed of AIDs during those years so such experimentation could lead to an infection without even any encounters happening.

Many here would be surprised at how many nationally recognized males who they think are straight who are actually gay. If one hasn't been around those types very much most tend to miss out on the not so subtle clues they give out about their sexuality. MANY gay guys do marry, but often it is merely for appearances sake, and that tends to further hide who is gay from those on the outside who aren't good at picking up the subtle clues they give out.

Jobs was gay ... no big deal, LOTS of very successful people in the bay area are. Jobs also most likely had AIDS ... his health situation over the last decade of his life gave every indication that was the underlying basis for his various ailments.
