The gun laws are already much worse than this in Connecticut. We had to register out scary long guns as "assault weapons" and our magazines with a capacity over 10 rounds. The rifles can only be willed to a direct descendant but the are in no way transferable and must die with you. This is on top of the craziest "red flag" you've ever read.
