Aussies Jailed in Iran Wanted to "Break the Stigma"
When will people learn that traveling to certain countries is plain stupid? They were arrested 10 weeks ago.

Aussies Arrested in Iran Wanted to ‘Break the Stigma’ Around Countries with a ‘Bad Media Rap’

* A pair of Australians now being held in a notorious Tehran prison have been identified as travel bloggers who were reportedly arrested for flying a drone without a licence.

* Deals can be made with Iran for the release of prisoners, however this often involves the transfer of large amounts of cash to the Islamic republic.

* Just such a prisoner exchange was brokered by former U.S. President Barack Obama in January 2016 that freed Washington Post journalist Jason Rezaian and three other Iranian-Americans. It saw the U.S. make a $1.7 billion cash delivery to Iran the same day the hostages were allowed to walk free.

Re: Aussies Jailed in Iran Wanted to "Break the Stigma"
Meanwhile back in Australia the very far from humble, current serving leader along with his callous ex uniform mate, want chinas facial recognition program rolled out.

Totally unAustralian ... the pair of them, and anyone that backs that shit.

No person in this land will be made safer by that.

They got all the kids faces and attention seekers faces already....by allowing unfettered social media with dubious bases unlimited access.

I bet those pair value their privacy and that of their families, while stripping it away from everyone else.

It’s a fucking joke what Australians are allowing to happen.

Got pulled over a while back for a random drug swab....nothing there of course, but that bloke took my photo.... why? And how are they allowed to just insist on photos on the spot?
I don’t have a criminal history, nor associations....

Later ... got bashed by my psychotic violent neighbor .... and they did nothing....

That couple shouldn’t expect too much support or assistance from the kind of government that is in charge at the moment.

I've always wanted to visit Egypt, but as a single white American female, there is just no way that will happen.
