Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77916093 1tsp of wild lettuce (20x extract) will put me out for a couple of hours, not unconscious, just a good, deep, and relaxing sleep. I take kratom twice a day and function all day. I take wild lettuce about twice a year, as needed for the most extreme pain. It grows all around me (the blue flower variety), but it's easier to just order some 20x extract online, and it's probably the stronger yellow flower type. So it costs me about $22/year. No they arent full of crap? People are different and wild lettuce is for babies? Kratom is not that expensive, just stay away from head shops and buy from a kratom vendor. We sell $30 1/4 kilos. 250g is quite a few 3 or 4g doses. "Science without religion is lame; religion without science is blind" Covid, fake riots, communist organizers - keep your powder dry America. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77999315 I agree opium is better but why do you say Kratom will fuck your life up? I think if you do too much of anything, anything can fuck your life up. Curious as to why you said that... I feel kratom can save lives if used properly. I personally got off suboxone with it. The WD from subs was like OVER 2 weeks. Pure hell. Kratom lightened the load. I would much rather get off kratom.... Now I will say this though. Kratom made me have weird side effects. My eyes went to shit, I could barely see outside in the daytime when I had to take large doses. Literally blinded by the light. Never had this happen my entire life of messing with substances. Then my blood pressure would rise, my face would feel filled up with blood and pulsating at times for no reason. Very strange... and I would have moments of pure confusion. Totally lost. But these things weren't daily, and could be effects from my source of kratom im really not sure |

I did this myself, stuff is incredible. Raw opium straight from the plant no BS. Roll it up in a joint. My God. You want natural pain relief there it is. Although it does come with stigmatic views so Im not sure where YOUR line in the sand is... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 19126618 If you go against that, then I say Kratom. That's as close as it gets to opium effects. We dont even bother cutting for latex, we just let the pods dry and put about 15g of pods per person in hot water. We dont boil them, we add boiling water a bit at a time to keep it hot for 10 minutes. Mash out in a couple coffee filters. Its a bit of a mess, but if you are over 55, you think poppy tea would be pretty good every night. It is like magic. Self destroying, junkie and messed up people mess it all up. But i never got good pods out of pots and it seems impossible to get em out here at all, but in couple months, we will try again. Anonymous Coward User ID: 77916093 United States 09/14/2019 01:10 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Dried and cured leaves, rolled into a ball stuck in the end of a piece of stem a few puffs and out you go. works for me. Quoting: sandman1 I'm going to assume you mean opium lettuce... someone mentioned a blue flowered variety. I've never seen that, but the yellow flowered variety is easy to find around here. I noticed thousands of plants last year when I couldn't take the highway to work. Yellow is more rare around here, but if I'm late getting the grass cut, the blue pops up all around on the hillsides and fields. I saw a 5ft yellow one once, thought it was some kind of giant dandelion. I mowed right over it. It's hard to cut with just a mower, always leaves a long stalk with leaves close to the ground. So you know it's coming right back before the grass does. I hate to cook, and I'm too impatient to cook my own extract. The last 12g pack I bought has lasted me almost a year, and I still have most of that. Saw some guy on youtube smoking the leaves, seems like it would be pretty nasty and harsh too. Coughing is too risky for me. |

It was so amazing though... I wonder if it would be worth it to grow them indoors and mimic their natural environments more? Or a greeenhouse? I noticed the one I put under a tarp grew the best. The ones I tried to grow just randomly in other spots all died... |

User ID: 76819314 United States 09/14/2019 01:40 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I’ve tried both . Opium lettuce waaaaay better.. it must be made at the right time of the year by a strict cooking instruction or it won’t do anything Quoting: Anonymous Coward 38505391 Strict cooking? Don't stop there. Great Thread. Everybody gets some pain or endures a helplessness to those they care for with pain. Wild Lettuce (or bone broth) might as well be "weird" to them while they throw Coffeemate in their coffee. A family member... The red and green Kratom, thanks for all this experience and advice. Psoriasis close friend candidate with somewhat bent back needs it now. Will process the three or so wild lettuce specimens when they come up again - up to 7' tall! Where I live, kratom is legal but very expensive. I've been hunting for wild lettuce for a while and finally found some on my land. I'm not fond of pharmaceutical remedies for arthritis, and I am just wondering if any of you have used and compared the two and which one is best for arthritis pain.
