What do you think about having an open-sourced distributed offline+online crime reporting system where anyone can accept crime reports?

Sort of like being a notary public, you can have this as a side gig or volunteer effort.

Every report gets a unique ID.

To reduce hacking the reports are done on paper, uploaded to a crypto network.

Crime reporting stats automatically updated.

Duplicate reports can be filed and cross linked with multiple providers to cut down on censorship.

The filer can choose to keep personal info public or private, request peer assistance, request law enforcement, or just file to be responsible to the community.

You could report crimes, suspicious incidents, and suspected criminals. (You know that chick is nuts, you just haven't caught her doing anything...yet)

This could include procedures for responsible vigilante law enforcement efforts.

A public bulletin board at each service provider location would be a must.
