Anonymous Coward User ID: 77990978 Philippines 09/16/2019 05:20 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The United States has issued satellite images and cited intelligence to back its claim that Iran was behind attacks on major Saudi oil facilities. Quoting: Limpan Iran denies involvement in Saturday's air attacks, which were claimed by Iran-aligned Houthi rebels in Yemen. But unnamed US officials speaking to US and international media say the direction and extent of the attacks cast doubt on Houthi involvement. The incident has cut global oil supplies by 5% and prices have soared. [link to www.bbc.com (secure)] if the "middle east" wants to further their desert parking lot status, let them, still can't think of a valid reason why the US has to be involved~ oil? pfff-- this might come as a shock to some but we have technology in place that can provide clean (more reliable) energy~ |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 74557152 United States 09/16/2019 06:54 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It was obviously an attack by the Houthi rebels, whose country of Yemen has been barbarically attacked by the Saudis for nearly 5 years, causing tens of thousands of civilian deaths, and taking the already poorest country in the Arab world to the brink of epidemic. The drone missile might’ve been Iranian-made. So what? Using that logic, then the U.S. is directly responsible for the deaths and injuries of anyone attacked by ANY and ALL the nations that the U.S. sells weaponry to (which is most of the world. The U.S. is the world’s largest seller of weaponry). Yemen has a right to defend itself from the brutal attacks waged on it by Saudi Arabia and UAE. This drone attack by the Houthis didn’t even hurt or kill anyone. Just damage to Saudi infrastructure. Too bad the same isn’t true for the barbaric aerial bombardment the Saudis have subjected the Yemenis to for the last nearly five years, resulting in the deaths of tens of thousands of INNOCENT Yemeni citizens. |

U.S. Intel told us there was weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. That was false. U.S. Intel said the "rebels" in Syria were good guys. This is why admitting they were Al Qaeda. Oh and that is why they changed their names to ISIS U.S. Intel said Trump stole the election with Trump. That turned out to be false too. Forgive me if I seem cynical, but I do not trust what U.S. intel says. All you have to do is ask who gains from this and who loses? The people that have been looking for ANY EXCUSE to go to war with Iran now have their excuse. I smell a false flag! Iran is not known for drone attacks. How did Iran sneak past Saudi and U.S. Air Defenses. I would be willing to bet Israeli is behind this. After all they have been wanting U.S. troops to die in Iran for them. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 57314663 United States 09/16/2019 06:56 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Sure. Because it's way more believable that Houthi rebels;independently coordinated a multi pronged attack involving multiple long range drones that they bought from Walmart packed with explosives and flew cross border through enemy defences to hit a critical oil processing facility. Yah, false flag tards, sure they did..... |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 74557152 United States 09/16/2019 06:58 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Why would Iran blatantly and directly attack Saudi Arabia? Makes ZERO sense. That would be signing their death warrant. It was the Houthis in Yemen, and Yemen is WELL within its right to defend itself from 5 years of Saudi aerial bombardment (using U.S.-made aircraft and bombs, incidentally). |
