Why?
All have these batteries and some type of location sensor/receiver. One unlocks them for use with their device. So it is known which device is upon which asset and where. |

They are responsoble for their app security, not tour phones or networks. |

These batteries are not supposed to be run all the way down and it will damage the battery. Sometimes causing them to explode. |
