They are striking with this large a salary? I can understand wanting a more stable job, the salaries are not bad. I wonder why these places don't come this way. I not trying to steal their jobs, only this is crazy.
I watched this happen down here with a paper mill, they up and left, can's say I blamed them, the people got way to greedy. They made more and anyone in the area, way over what other people made at similar jobs. They did not know when to quit period.

Reading through these comments I can see most people have no idea about cost of labor, taxes, etc. Greed is the downfall of america. Have 2 family members work for GM. One 5 years in.. makes about $28/hr plus $15k bonus. Pays like $5/mo for Cadillac insurance plan. The other has been there for 20 years. He makes almost $40/hr and same benefits. He owns 4 lower level season tickets for the KC chiefs at goal line. Yeah some people dont understand the cost of GM labor.. union at its best
