Oddly the Mrs. who is quite sensitive has been plagued with nightmares of earthquakes striking for about three weeks now and she's never suffered those before.

It's moving south and over downtown headed to Galveston. I had water up to the door mirror on a GMC truck with 38" tires as I drove by floating cars. 1361 lighting last hour with purple radar rain. 5 - 8" of rain per hour expected. Such fun.

I have friends in Anahuac. They are losing everything right now. A large family all sharing land,4 generations flooded out of their homes...

We have a flash flood watch here, just north of Houston metro, but it looks like Houston is catching the worst of it.

Still good in BCS. Intermittent heavy rain, but pauses long enough to drain between downpours, thus far. Mr. LJS flying into Bush, supposed to land about 7:30 -- planes may have to divert to DFW if this continues.
