That way you'll know if you got something moving in because you wont be seeing it on radar! Thanks, Hiram's Apprentice. Not a Ham operator myself. However, Caddo Mills borders my town. On FM 1570 literally across the street is my town and the other side Caddo Mills. It's mildly amusing to see this on a Hunt County map. I'm familiar with "your town"... BTW, my favorite old Texas sayin' is "Its time to paint our butts white and run with the antelope". WTF does THAT mean? "Katie bar the door". Is a saying in our area of Florida too. The U.S. Coast Guard says witnesses reported early Friday that nine barges had broken away from their moorings at a shipyard. The Coast Guard says at least two of the barges struck the Interstate 10 bridge over the San Jacinto River at Channelview, about 15 miles (25 kilometers) east of Houston. Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez says there is possible structural damage to the bridge, and that it won't reopen until inspections occur. |
