That's all well and good but you're assuming that you know which satellite was used to track the missile. You're also assuming that the satellite that was used to track the missile was the same satellite that took the photo. They probably weren't the same satellite either because you're talking about two different types of equipment, sure they could pack all that equipment into one satellite, but it will never be as good as a satellite that performs just one task. Sure it might do task a and task b ok, but a satellite that performs just task a will outperform the satellite that does both. You're also assuming that the cruise missile followed a straight trajectory. Who's to say that the missile was even tracked by a satellite and not by an AWACS or a naval vessel, and the DoD is just saying it was tracked by a satellite so we don't tip our hand to what surveillance capabilities we have. You have a few known variables down possibly, but there's also a lot of shit that is not public along with misinformation. So if your main source of itel is 4chan, then maybe you ought to find other sources.

I can run Orbitron too (or whatever satellite tracking software or app you want to use), even hook it up to my SDR with an antenna I made to pick up photos from NOAA weather satellites. I'm also a HAM, and I have used a 2meter handheld radio to communicate using amateur radio satellites using a yagi made out of a tape measure and PVC pipe. So yeah I know how to track a satellite.

That's good, but you have to get a missile up there and on target. That goes past the area of detection Most of the ADA, except SHORAD, uses other means to steer the "anti-missile". I don't know what the Saudis have got, but some of those systems have to be oriented and configured in a 360 degree circle. Still easy to defeat especially with a cruise missile that's flying close to NOE.

Iran had some people there giving them intelligence and exploited the weaknesses.

I think what happens is this:
The US and the Saudis know, attacking Iran would blow up the whole middle east. They could defeat Iran, but it would cost way too much!

So they will say it is highly likely the attack came from Iran, but they don't know 100%. Some more sanctions, end of story. Iran has the upper hand here.

Like North Korea a few years ago who bombed a SK Island, sunk a SK submarine, mined the DMZ which killed a SK soldier, but SK could not risk a war, so they got away with it.
