More troops were killed by sickness than enemy contact during WWI. That particular flu strain attacked young healthy adults rather then the very young or very old population. Also, aspirin dropped fevers allowing the flu to advance...it could be correct to say aspirin killed more than the flu. My understanding is that it can come in three waves... At one time I was convinced that Elderberry extract was the way to go... but it may potentate the immune response and with a cytokine storm it is the opposite way to go. I have settled on Lomatium dissectum root as an extract (online) or as the raw root(online) that can be boiled. Seemed to help the Native Americans (and Anglos) of Nevada in 1918. I would be interested to hear other opinions.

No fever, so it's not the flu, but lots of coughing, a scratchy throat, and a runny nose. I've had it since Monday. I used to get sick once a year, now it's 5-6 times.
