Besides that ancient petrodollar agreement, America has no dog in this fight.
The Saudi's would turn on us in a heartbeat. They don't like us, just our money and military hardware.

I say, let the Saudis and Iran fight it out.

But (personally) I think it's outdated. It's said that America exports more oil than it produces.

Another Arab oil embargo would hurt, but I doubt it would cripple America's economy like it did in the early 1970's.

I think our continued dependency of Middle East oil is kept alive by the oil companies and the congressmen they support over here.

It is better if it collapses when we are at peace. A war would collapse it. Iran isn't going to be war as usual for the US.

You play fast and loose with the livelihoods of many or most Americans.

If they attacked the glass skyscrapers of Dubai, it might not be Biblical,..

The Houthis have some good youtube music videos about carrying the war back to Riyadh and Dubai.
