Let them weaken one another. Well, I think the Saudis should defend themselves before we come to their aide. I don't think it would be wise to let them go hang though. We would probably disagree about that, I imagine. To me it's just practical geopolitics. |

They don't like us, just our money and military hardware. I say, let the Saudis and Iran fight it out. Last Edited by Sikhed on 09/18/2019 07:56 PM :doom360: |

Quoting: Sikhed The Saudi's would turn on us in a heartbeat. They don't like us, just our money and military hardware. I say, let the Saudis and Iran fight it out. There is a little matter of the petrodollar and economic collapse... |

There is a little matter of the petrodollar and economic collapse... Your argument has merit, But (personally) I think it's outdated. It's said that America exports more oil than it produces. Another Arab oil embargo would hurt, but I doubt it would cripple America's economy like it did in the early 1970's. I think our continued dependency of Middle East oil is kept alive by the oil companies and the congressmen they support over here. :doom360: |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77999704 ..but bursting the real estate bubble of the Gulf... Epic. The Houthis have some good youtube music videos about carrying the war back to Riyadh and Dubai.
