Officials claimed it was HPD (Honolulu Police Department) that made an error during training. This explanation doesn’t fly though. Why on earth does HPD have access to the emergency alert system? And why did the sirens go off on Maui as well? The “false” missile alert wasn’t really false. There were witnesses that saw something shot down. So if that “mistake” was real, what about this one?
