The people of Bahamas sure aren't "our people". And most of our actual people hate the fact our government steal our money via taxation to give away in aid. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 50953867 But if the UK has 14B to hand out, shouldn't it make Bahamas a priority over some other 3rd world country with no ties at all? |

The fact is we're broke there's no way we give 14 billion away a year. |

I saw a news story a few days ago where the people of the Bahamas got tired of waiting for government “help” and started to clean up their own yards and streets. Well, no shit you lazy bastards. Other countries have sent food and water and you people want to sit around and do nothing while waiting for the government. The story was highly sympathetic to the plight of these people but I am sure it didn’t play well for a lot of governments. I have led the US relief efforts after hurricanes have hit the southern Philippines on more than one occasion. Entire villages blown away. Before the wind stops blowing the Filipinos are already foraging for building materials to rebuild their homes. A few weeks after the storm they are back in business. Foreign aid amounted mostly to food, water and medical supplies. Have a nice day = GFY. GFY = Go Fuck Yourself. If this offends you then have a nice day. |

It amazes me that they get a chunk of change from the taxpayers every year when they could live off their own interest instead. What is that allotment every year amount to? (Also, didn't most of the people leave the two islands to go somewhere? Even my tiny little nearby town got up pallets of water, food, tarps and meds to send. That's just one town. Imagine all the aid coming in from all the others, too. I hope it didn't go straight to the Red Cross. But, point being, with the US having thousands upon thousands of towns donating relief supplies, it would be enough to cover over all of Abaco. Anybody seen any update pics, lately for progress and did the latest storm really hit them again?) |

Our royal family hundreds of years back used to own all the land, wherever you lived the subjects would pay whichever duke or duchess or king or Queen owned that patch of land with taxes. People still complain but we have come a long way. |

What the fuck??? England is like the richest country on the planet and they accuse us of Racism?? Evil controls the ignorant... Climate change is a hoax so is the vax you have been fear-porned into compliance! Bahamas is a commonwealth with the Queen as it's reigning monarch, after the devastation of hurricane Dorian, is getting a "drop in the bucket" 1.5 million relief fund from the UK with a 14 Billion foreign aid budget. Quoting: Remedial_Rebel The US has already spent way more than that in rescue operations. WTF is wrong with these western governments that are more concerned about the beggar at the door than their own starving people? [link to www.thesun.co.uk (secure)] Considering to get that 14 B in the first place, they increased the national debt, swallowing just about all tax payments to cover the interest alone.* *done on authority of all those that registered to vote, and the essential violence to compliance and silent consent of those who did not register, our 'democratically elected (legal) representatives' will do business on our behalfs, and hung on our necks but not theirs, on national level scales, with national debts, and Fiat Currencies. Check out Albert Stickney, Organised Democracy, something like 1908. The current Prime Minister of the UK was a leader of seperate state to the UK before hand, The City of London, as first Freeman, then Alderman and finally Lord Mayor Of the City of London. The UK City London has a Mayor, not a Lord Mayor. Ever heard of the 'Global Parliament of Mayors'? |

The interest repayments are likely in the not too distant future reach saturation point on the taxation capacity to repay it. Especially vs the rates of increasing it for things like 'being the richest' and giving aid to nations far away, immigrants from anywhere far. |

What both should do is repudiate the interest on borrowed money from their central banks. And then bar the banks statute of establishment. |
