Quoting: ALL IS ONE IS ALL None of the above... it belongs to the creation.. but humans must arise into care taker status. Is the creation someone who would own the earth? no one owns anything living we are caretakers and we inherit the kingdom of heaven that will be on earth on earth as it is in heaven Well, the thread question was about the earth, a physical territory. I do think too that nobody owns a living creature, unlike what the human behavior shows it everywhere everyday. BUT...ruling and owning is no more from heaven since: Genesis 1:28-30 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so. Do we have a problem? If God gave all the creatures of the earth, plants and animals, to the humans, isn't this earth a human belonging? Isn't the coming scarcity the natural end result of God's own decision? How could we multiply AND consume the earth at will? Is the ownership of the earth a curse for the humans? all of Genesis needs to be translated back to paleo hebrew then we can talk |
