We all suffer because there are parts of who we are that are ugly or scare us, and we only see those things in others. When we introspective and insightful, through meditation, we’ll be able to accept those scary things are apart of us. This is a very painful process. Things like denial, memory repression, will make us not even be able to see who we are, without much time and contemplation. For more information, combine the work of Carl jung with the New Testament with Buddhism. Then add yourself. |

User ID: 76558269 United States 09/20/2019 07:56 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The purpose of life is God's not ours. God created a family from the foundation of the world and predestined a pathway to obedience for them to follow, which ultimately leads to everlasting life in Jesus Christ. If our names were written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, then we belong to God and we WILL conform to the image of Jesus Christ while we live on this earth. Those who don't (and never will) believe in Jesus Christ are vessels of wrath fitted to destruction. They were designed to be unbelievers who despise good and God. They will never come to the knowledge of the truth. They are meant to be tools used by God to scourge God's people and refine us, as gold is refined through fire. They are brute beasts made to be taken and destroyed. Through them, God shows His wrath, makes his power known, and reveals the riches of His glory on His vessels of mercy (those who believe in Christ by His will). Why all this, you may ask? It's all done according to God's good pleasure. It's his show. He does as He pleases. |

Where did I come from? 3. Why am I here? “Have you also learned that secret from the river; that there is no such thing as time?" That the river is everywhere at the same time, at the source and at the mouth, at the waterfall, at the ferry, at the current, in the ocean and in the mountains, everywhere and that the present only exists for it, not the shadow of the past nor the shadow of the future.” Hermann Hesse, Siddhartha |

You want perspectives of others but don't bother to offer yours. And you only want it just so you can decide for them what their intentions are behind them sharing their perspectives with you. Or you want their perspective so that you can tell people that they're "too programmed" and being unrealistic about their approach in Life. I think you just want a reason to be condescending to others who don't think like you, maybe because someone treated you the same way before. |
