Do you even realize what's required to charge someone with treason, at least according to the constitution? There has to be at least two witness who actually saw the act in person. That's a hard case to prove, that's why there have not been too many convicted case in the country. That's why most traitors get slapped with other crimes like espionage.

Is it normal for phone calls between the president and other world leaders to be monitored, or have others listening in? If it is normal to have those calls monitored, I doubt what ever promise was made on that call was anything serious and who ever filed the complaint was probably really stretching. If it's not normal for the call to be monitored then who ever filed the complaint should be charged with a crime.

Gather your evidence or proof, still keep your mouth shut about it, that way evidence is less likely to disappear. Once you have all the evidence you can find, make sure you have an iron clad case, and go over the evidence. Then once all of that is done, and only then should you open mouth, and watch the look of shear panic and shock on peoples faces, savor it for a while, and watch their world crumble all around them.
