I think work has kept her a bit busy. I know my job has left me scrambling. Literally half the shop is out sick, one guy got fired for dishonesty, and everything I've worked on the past week has been someone else's job that had to go. 7-7 seems to be my new normal. I hope it passes.

I'm okay! I had the flu over the holidays, but it wasn't too bad because I took Tamiflu...but still, I was nauseous off and on, the runs and generally drained. I'd heat up too. I know it could've been way worse though. Everyone in town is sick or trying to get over it.

Of course, I've been working. We're down drivers so....yeah, I've been working.

And then there's the curve balls life throws ya. I've had a couple lobbed at me. I'm however surviving to thrive.

I got a new CD the other day, Clapton's Greatest Hits. There's a song on there I wanted to put on this thread, although I think I have already....but I'm going to again!

Well I hope you are on the mend. Having the flu and having to drive others would be such a challenge.

My work has been quite busy too and my parking was moved to a secure underground location in anticipation of the Virginia Legislature beginning and the number [they are grossly underestimating it] of people expected to travel to the Virginia Capitol to be heard.

I have wanted to speak with you since Saturday evening.

Something big is coming, something that requires my protection, but I do not know what.

My small cat has been watching intently beside my chair and behind it for the past week. Even to the point of sitting down on the chair arm and staring behind us.

My large cat will either lay on the sofa beside the Mrs. or at my feet after circling them multiple times. He began going behind my chair, circle something unseen and lying at its feet.

Saturday night Blossom went to the kitchen and while my small cat was seated in front of me, staring to my left, she dropped something in the kitchen. A little too quickly I turned my head in her direction and the white Angel was visible to my left and instantly 'fell' as a sparkling mist from its seven foot height and dissipated before reaching the floor. Instinctively I reached into it and could feel it as it passed through my hand and wrist.

It and the others that may join it have only appeared to me throughout my life when extreme danger was imminent, present or growing. Their presence assures my safety, but this causes me worry for humanity.

The shiny black one with razor sharp teeth and tongue who carries a lance has not appeared yet. When he becomes involved people around me that wish harm or ill towards me die. He has proven that, their obituaries to be found in the Richmond Newspaper. He's not here to kill, but the white one is here to watch, bless, and bring others.

Please all be safe and well. God loves you and your selfless deeds for humanity through your kindness to others.

Hmm... Yesterday I had a flash of light happen peripherally off to my right. I at first dismissed it as a car's headlight through the window from the road but as I examined my position in the house there was no view to the road or any window from where I saw the flash. I had shrugged it off.

Your post brings it to mind for some reason.

I know you're worried about Humanity....I too love Humanity. My love for Humanity is what kept me here the two times I've been offered an easy out, one not so long ago. Once I got myself grounded again the second time, I wanted to kick my ass all over my apartment for not flying. Lawdy.

I've sat here and deleted what I've written a few different times...because words aren't enough, or what I had to say applies to adults....what about the children, the babies?....of course they haven't had a chance. It really is brutal.

But we're here for a reason, Louis....and worry will get us nowhere. I don't think our worry is going to save anyone. I do understand your worry, though....over 7 billion people on the face of the planet. It's a given we have some concerns.

I don't know what else to say...it's just bloody hard.

Such a little bit of a thing, and yet they scare the hell-fire right outta me.....

Only so much scares me, but Opossums bring great rise to fright in me.

They look so bitey-bitey, like something you'd see in a nightmare.....

I haven't forgotten you all and I'm glad we've all made it this far.

Ive been very distracted with the fire situation here in Australia.

My ex (and best friend) has a 1 year old with an Aussie. And, though I do not know his details, I did get a message that 'most of' his family was safe, but there were more rural cousins and things that no one could contact. I'm going for dinner with them (I love hanging out with their child having raised 2 myself) early this upcoming week and will get more details. He's trying to get his Landed Immigrancy status here...fingers crossed, I don't to mose my friend and my fav child to Australia if it comes to that!
