You will also note that you do not need to deal with concepts of revenge, hate or retaliation rather let the 'machinery' of universe handle it. And it does a very thorough job.
Some call it Karma whilst others claim cause and effect.
It is built into the universe as a balancer of the equation to restore such equilibrium and as to why it is so important.
