Everyday the Smuggler would show up at the border with a donkey packed with straw and bundles. He would tell the border patrol that he was a smuggler, yet the patrol never found anything suspicious in his search. Years later both retired men met in a café, the border agent asked what he had been smuggling all those years, and the smuggler replied: "donkeys".
