...‘I’m leaving you in the hands of the lord although I doubt he wants you”....who says that but one who is an adversary/opposer of another?
Satan definition:
“Satan”: This could also be translated “adversary” and thus the person’s identity would be unknown. The original Heb.term satan is a generic noun
meaning "accuser" or "adversary", which is used throughout the Heb. Bible to refer to ordinary human adversaries,as well as a specific supernatural entity. The word is derived from a verb meaning primarily "to obstruct, oppose".When it is used without the definite article (simply satan), the word can refer to any accuser, but when it is used with the definite article (
ha-satan), it usually refers specifically to the heavenly accuser: the satan.
Zechariah 3:1:
Young's Literal Translation
And he sheweth me Joshua the high priest standing before the messenger of Jehovah, and
the Adversary standing at his right hand, to be an adversary to him.
Isaiah 11:13:
The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and
Judah shall not vex Ephraim.
Judah’s have a problem stopping playing “monster” with Joseph’s ...that’s why it takes a throne room visit/rebuke by God to end it...lol..after that we will be at Isaiah 11:13
Hmmm if only the high priest knew who would be his adversary...lol
Quoting: waterman Still living in your make believe own interpretive scriptural verses. Making no since and false claims of that high priest verse just as you use to do with your wicked priest interpretation. That actually had nothing to do with your original self-concept of the meaning of the wicked priest as one of the two witnesses. A completely different version/meaning of the wicked priest and its origin, Google: (wicked priest).
There is only going to be one individual in the throne room, not two as you fantasize. he is often referred to as the chosen ONE, not TWO!
There are three/four versions of that one man's visit to the throne room through different witnesses in scripture (2 Cor.13:1KJV). (John's vision) (Rev.12:5KJV)); as the man-child (Rev.12:5KJV), and as the overcomer in another vision (Rev.2:26-27KJV). (Daniel's vision) as the one LIKE the Son of man (Dan.7:13KJV). (Zechariah's vision) as the high priest (Zech.3:1KJV), who eventually becomes/transforms into the BRANCH (Zech.3:8KJV).
Thus, is the reason Joshua is no longer mentioned after the appearing of the BRANCH. Because the BRANCH inverted reveals another position of authority not previously recognized. An established one of king-ship and thus hiding on the other side of the priesthood.
Thus, the BRANCH is but one depiction of a twig that once finally burgeoned to its full revealing becomes that of a great BRANCH meant to only be shown in the light of its day.
But only with the other side hidden from view until walking (at the end of many generations), to view its other side. Only than appears a new concept of the same BRANCH seen differently in its inverse Positioning.
Thus, the reason for the exclusion of discussing the high priest/Joshua toward the other side of the BRANCH discussing the ruler-ship of that of Zerubbabel! Here is the meaning of the BRANCH one individual in one BRANCH but holding two hidden (so far at this time-frame) positions. A great mystery even hidden from those 24 elders sitting before Joshua eyes (Zech.3:8KJV). But its timing will appear in its placement!
Thus, branching off holding both offices as (high priest/and king-ship) (Joshua/Zerubbabel); as in the changing of his filthy garments and renewed with a new raiment of clothing (Zech.3:3-4KJV). As in the conformity of his Lord, (King of kings/High Priest).
Thus, fulfilling in these scriptural depictions; of all four prophecies of future scriptural promises during this man's reign, in/during the millennial age. (Ezekiel's vision) (Ezek.44:3-46:1-18KJV) as the prince (royalty) in/of Israel and a (priest) (Ezek.46:1-18KJV). Offering sacrifice on behalf of his subjects and himself. This man cannot be Jesus, Jesus is sinless, not needing to offer sacrifices on behalf of himself.
Notice all these positions of that one individual prophesied holds the same eventual role..to rule the nations/peoples and all languages. Thus, it is not disclosing two but one personage! Not the ruler-ship in the millennial age as the personage of Jesus. But a ruler-ship of a figure capable of sin, producing children and retaining a wife in so doing. None of these things I might add are needful of the resurrected Jesus. And he would have no desire or capacity within the realm of the physically aspects of life toward these purposes.
God confirms this testimony by placing two or more witnesses of this one future event through the witnesses of four examples of the same individual, the (man-child/overcomer/one LIKE the Son of man/Joshua/Zerubbabel).
STOP making up scriptural translations that substitutes Satan for another personage that the Word doesn't and never had intended to mean! The Word declares Satan, the Word means Satan. The Word is not confusing; man's interpretation of the Word is the confusing aspect of the scriptural conjecture!
He is the same Satan depicted as a dragon ready to devour the man-child before he begins his commission (Rev.12:4) once back on earth. and both Joshua and that man-child is being attacked by that same Satan and are they are both the same ones called to the throne room in this depiction! And Satan wants to devour that one before for commission and his 3 and one half time-frame ceases to be.
And I can assure you before that time he was not comfortingly sitting by waiting for Elijah to announce him as you claim.
He will be experiencing hell on earth several years before that in a furnace of affliction and in a prison of torture and torment. Nevertheless, he will overcome all these adversities trusting in his God.
Read the adversities of Job's torment, tortures, and the dissolving of his sanity. For this will be the highest degree of the baptism the Lord was baptized with and the cup from which he drunk. As he demands of holy men and servants in the service of the Most High!
For The book of Job is written for that man of woe. Not Job the man then but a future Job to come, A prince hidden, a man sought out by Satan to destroy. Fearing it will lead toward his own demise; within His almighty power of authority and His unquenchable fury in His display of His fiery displeasure against that evil one.
For Job knew not the meaning of his prophesying or the utterance of that Spirit or its meaning hidden at the end of his words/work/book.. For he, him-self declared in the last chapter of his sayings: I understood not the words I spoke or of the utterance of my prophecies I spoke, for God hide them from me.
(Job.42:3KJV) Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? Therefore have I uttered that which I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.For Job knew in part those utterance were not prophesying about him but another one hidden for a future explanation. Thus, the mystery of the book of job remains hidden, until its fulfillment comes to be. Then shall it be revealed and spoken often in the mouths of coming generations.
For Job knew men were foolish and are without understanding and their hearts deceive their knowing. For they regard themselves as the children when they are not seeing their own time.
(Job.24:1KJV)WHY, SEEING times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days? Now we have gone over these same subjects many times and you insist that your version of these scriptural meanings have nothing to do with one individual but two.
But I nevertheless Waterman can understand why you would and want to believe that way. Without that version of your demented interpretation you would be excluded as one of the possible two witnesses of (Rev.11)!
A position you continually claim and boast is your position and possession. Not by any confirmations or visitation to declare such a thing, neither of no other witnesses in agreement with your claim has God sent forth.
Only because you and several hundred others also has come to the conclusion that they are also that Elijah figure or some other great one that mankind is waiting to appear upon the scene of humanities destiny!
And I can understand why any man such as you, would believe as you do, that Jacob/Israel are the names of two separate individual; instead of the same individual with two names. That there are two riders on the white horse/steed who went forth conquering (overcoming) (Rev.6:2KJV), as you believe. That Mary might have had an affair with a man to bring forth Jesus, as you believe. And some if not many other antithesis versions of scriptural misunderstanding you insist on holding on to.
Yes I can understand why you seek to conjure up unscriptual interpretations of your own twisting of scriptural meanings to seek a position of recognition of grandiose.
Yet, you are so blinded by this ambition that you fail to see how blind that ambition has made you or who it is that leads you toward this doom.
Wake up my friend before your blind ambitions cause you to believe you are the greatest man ever created...oh you already believe that don't you..sorry but you are not that man! For he must be the one least among us, and desiring no recognition...to fit that order.
He will detest all competition of any order and would prefer solitude to recognition. Solace to conflict. The lime light only blinds him; and he only seeks wisdom at the cost of humility. His only desire will always be and continually remains the glorification of his God in His Form, in His Body and in His Spirit.
No other ambition I believe is compared to this goal for mankind. And no greater glorification shall man/women ever receive in the ages to come but for this one singular goal above all others. All other boasting is of the works and the rewards of the stubble, hay and wood, to burn for a light toward a different path/direction/goal we should seek!
Now we have discussed this more than need be. Your mindset seems to be established my son, one who has sit and ate bread at my table...need I say more!
