Matthew 16:23:


But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.





Some people mistake the word Christ as it being Jesus last name...when Christ really means “anointed one” so there were many christs (anointed ones)...kings and priests are anointed ones

Just as some mistake the word Christ for being Jesus’ name others mistake Satan as being lucifers last name when in reality the word Satan simply means an opponent or an adversary as we see Jesus called Peter “Satan” which meant peters plan was promoting man not God....so not all Satans are Lucifer sometimes it is one that is an opponent or adversary to Gods plan.
