Who is Revelations written to? Same as all other books of the bible - BELIEVERS !

I am now more disposed to believe that when Revelations says that the beast causes ALL to receive the mark, both small and great, that God is referring to believers only as his concern is only for his people; those who choose him as their Lord and God.

The bible says, if I remember correctly, that Satan causes all to sin. The context therefore is concerning God's people who it matters if they sin, if they take this mark, if they follow after that man of perdition.

There are a billion Catholics so I will assume 2 things, that not only is the man of perdition the pope, but also the pastors who Jesus warned about saying Do as they say not as they do. They stand in the place of God when they take center stage every service. They hate it when others stand center stage. The mark is believing that church is what God wants. The mark is setting up men over themselves to rule over them, and tell then what to do, and scratch their ears with bullshit that Jesus never said or never said to do. The mark is literally following man instead of the living God Jesus HIMSELF. At least, that could be one way of looking at it.

Since the mark concerns buying and selling which most believers do anyways and fear to trust Jesus and sell everything they have and give to the poor and preach the gospel and minister to people and don't work for food or clothing or money or anything that robber can steal, I'd say that 99.999% of believers already have the mark.

So what else is the mark?

Fear, and unbelief.

Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Hypothetically speaking, if the "mark" was something that were to alter your DNA into something non-human (or especially of demonic design), that could conceivably be reason for God to remove his breath of life from a person, which was intended for humans only.

I think this is right. Now, it appears to me that the radical left is positioning themselves as really extreme to the point of crazy to make Obama look like a moderate when he returns to power. Also, the fake alien invasion will have Obama as the only world ambassador they will listen to.

Mark of the beast is fear and u belief of Jesus and following his commands. You cannot serve God AND money. Jesus said quit your jobs, don't work for the world, work for God, he will supply your needs as you go about the world and spread his message of salvation.



You lukewarm believers are already deceived! Property tax is already a mark, because it causes you to buy and sell (work for money) lest you lose your homes. You're not afraid to work under any conditions, mark or no mark, you just don't want to do God's work is the point.

Oh, One caveat to the above. Jesus is going to appear very soon, but He will appear IN His saints (Christ in You the Hope of Glory). Compare the uses and meanings of the words Epiphaneia and Phaneroo which mean to shine forth from within vs. Parousia which means bodily arrival. You can't get this right through english translations alone. The original greek makes things more clear. Just as Jesus was the man-child of that day, so the man-child of Rev 12:5, John 16:21 will be Jesus in full manifestation in a body of Saints (not all Saints).

Who is this 'ALL' that revelation mentions receiving the mark of the beast?

The mark will simply be something like a proclamation of your rejection of Jesus Christ... like the T-shirts the gals who were so proud wear who got abortions... there will be a proud testimony (a mark or tattoo perhaps) Wear it with pride they will... will you?

The mark of the beast ultimately is willful sin... rejection of Gods will.

We can avert it, and it does not have to come to pass. In my opinion that simply means it gets rescheduled.
