Re: "I was a huge believer in climate change as a youth.."
I remember in the late 60s the flavor of the month was to freak out youth about a coming ice age and over population of the earth. The solution given by the activists of the day was for everyone to stop having kids. Sometime during the 80s the narrative switched to "global warming" because the evidence debunked the ice age scare. But they couldn't have people not living in fear of human caused doom, so they went in the other direction. When the evidence debunked the global warming fear porn, they turned it into "climate change". They want us scared into submission, wracked with guilt and overwhelmed by a sense of helplessness. It's worse than it's ever been now.

ZPG, I remember it well. I dutifully had two children and no more. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to me, they had opened the floodgates to Mexico and they've let in at least 40 Million of those fuckers. They're all here to have 6 children and drive a Chevy Tahoe packed with kids...As I pay for their education through my property taxes.

I was never a believer. To me it was all fear porn and Al Gore's movie about all the polar ice caps melting by 2012 and flooding coastal areas was like a fictional Hollywood doom movie like Armageddon or something. I never bought into the hysterics because I was never brainwashed in school with it. It is one of the perks of growing up GenX. We were not as brainwashed as Millennials and GenZ who came after us.

We appreciate it AC. Your donations saved the world. But it's time to donate some more. They've been running this scam since the end of the great wars. It keeps people in submission, fear and fear porn is big business! Now they have Starbucks socialists and greentards drinking Monsanto GMO soy lattes scared shitless about climate change, but they aren't concerned about the horrible impact of mining for the rare earth elements that are used to make their smart phones that they use to text about climate change. If they really think the drive for profit is destroying the planet, they should be shunning their GMO diet and their phones, tablets and laptops. But logic isn't part of their skill set. They can't even put together a coherent protest, all they have is rage fueled twatter tirades based on muh feeeeeeelings.

Globalists are scaring the shit out of little kids in school with their dooms day lies about climate change and the ones most negatively effected by those lies are girls and the mentally disabled who are more submissive to authority figures like teachers and believe what ever they are told by them. Normal boys are less inclined to believe what ever they are told and will more often challenge authority figures. It's one of the reasons masculinity is demonized by globalists. Globalists don't like independent thinking assertive people which is trait more prevalent in males than females. Globalists want group think and conformity which girls are more inclined to do because girls want to please others more and get along with them at any price in some cases. Notice most of the so called poltically correct naggers always lecturing us about so called morality are girls and the mentally disabled like that Greta girl. A lot of SJW trannies are these weird funny hair dyed brainwashed autistic people who think they are trans non binary special snowflakes. That's no coincidence. Globalists target in particular the mentally disabled in school with the transgender propaganda because they buy into it more.

It's like the theory of evolution which wants man to think of himself as just another animal. No one will buy it as adults when they can reason clearly, so they have to reach the little kids in school who aren't mature enough yet or have enough life experience to question it.

Climate change is 100% real. Only thing is "they" manipulate the reasons and try to make a profit from lies. Everything is on a cycle, from the galaxy to the solar system down to the planets and ecosystems. It is like the changing of the seasons on a grander scale. The Mayans knew of this cycle perhaps better than any past civilization. The sun dictates our climate and changes perhaps more than anything beyond. Don't buy into the man made lies.

I agree! Crazy story...my dad died the week before my first birthday in a plane crash in Colorado, early November 1971. It was a fluke ice storm that iced the wings of his small private plane and it crashed. I researched the storm they flew into and found that it was a record breaker ice storm that hit suddenly and was unforseen. Then I looked deeper into this and realized this was the month and year they first tested releasing nitrogen gas into the clouds to seed them for snowfall in the Colorado Rockies. No doubt lobbied for by the big business owners of the large ski resorts in the area. They did not get the formula right on this test run, resulting in this then record breaking ice storm. So I guess I could argue that I was made fatherless by weather modification. It has been 48 years, the statue has probably run on filing a class action law suit but I felt the need to share.

"Climate Change" is the lie used to cover up the mess they have made by tampering with our weather and they don't know how to put the "genie back in the bottle"!

The issue for me has never been climate change though I am sure given enough resources and time man could change the climate if he was purposely trying to... say like terra forming mars or something. Think Leto Keynes from Dune..

For me it has always been why would you want to create pollution if it could be avoided. It’s also irritating to me that we basically cap or seal off the ground from being able to breathe for centuries under cities. It just seems unhealthy and a way to make the ground decay and rot. We need a better way of making mega cities and cities in general so we can be in a perfect harmony with the earth. That would be my dream above all dreams.

What we are seeing are judgments upon the earth for our REJECTION of The Most High, all powerful God, Yahweh! This is what the world looks like when we kick Him out! So you want Him to "fix fukushima" before you will take anyone serious? Probably should of thought of that before we removed prayer from schools, allowed the murder of unborn innocence and replaced His 10 Commandments with "do what thou wilt" Crowley philosophy. So don't blame Yahweh for the state of the world. The world has asked Him to leave us alone and, as a Gentleman, He is just giving the world what it asked for.

I want to back up what Zikka said earlier in this thread. I was born in 1971, & grew up with leftist fear porn about "the coming ice-age." Those psychopaths even hatched a plan to have military cargo planes cover the polar ice caps with black soot to cause them to melt. Thankfully, some sane people stopped them.

Earth Day was founded in 1971 to remind us of the inescapable apocalypse of global cooling. The same marxist kooks now use the same Earth Day to promote their new fear porn: "Global Warming." More BS.

To all the young people out there, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE examine BOTH sides of every issue. I was in Greenpeace in the 1990s, & left it for the same reason it's founders abandoned it: it was hijacked by communist propagandists with deep pockets who couldn't give 2 shits about the environment. NOTE: These "founders" were themselves socialists, & will tell you this themselves. I personally am not- just an outdoorsman with a passionate love of nature. I walked my talk unlike most, & still support the original mission of protecting endangered species, stopping whaling ships, & ending the relentless destruction of the rain forests (all of which are ignored in place of this global warming hoax).

I've been misled multiple times over the last 5 decades with these bogus doomsday schemes.. don't fall into that trap. There are real environmental catastrophes being caused by the same people pushing these lies. The barbarians aren't at the gates- they are inside the walls & sitting on the throne already. The elite are using climate change as an excuse to implement a carbon tax that will become a huge revenue generator for them. However, most people are ignorant to the fact at just how much damage human activity is doing to the entire biosphere.

Just look at how many species are going extinct and rain forest that are getting clear cut. I traveled across Asia for 2 decades and only saw a thick cloud of toxic smoke most of the time. Most large cities never have clear air and the rivers are polluted beyond repair.

If you are not aware of just how bad it is you should leave your area once and awhile and go look for yourself. There is anew movement that is basically fueled by human ignorance that claims humans are barely impacting the earths biosphere. They have become so paranoid of government motives they are no longer able to process facts.

We could have solved many of these problems a long time ago, but make no mistake we in the west will have to curb our lifestyles at some point and help solve this problem. If you had 7 billon Americans on this planet we would likely destroy it in a couple years. Global warming is nothing compared to the damage we are causing to the entire biosphere.

If you are not aware of this simple fact OP you should try stop worrying about Muslims and the color of peoples skin and go educate yourself. A dark energy has always emanated from you. I am sure that fake green karma you have came from some other source. All this from a Slav to boot.

However the treats that seem to be edging closer is race on race murder, liberal unhinged school shooters, Fukushima cesium exposure, and 3rd world invasion and 3rd world national decay.

However so far I still survive them.

Yelling anti-humanist bullshit from the lefties and their stupid minions.

I only disagree with your comment because the word "lefties" makes people of the left sound somehow less dangerous, irresponsible and inhumane than they really are.

"Lefty" or "lefties" sounds like cute, furry little animals. Or it sounds like cute little children using a certain hand to draw picture of rainbows and unicorns with.

Or a car turning in a certain direction as a family drives past the main gate of Disney World.

People of the left are anything but cute, furry and innocent.

Re: "I was a huge believer in climate change as a youth.."
So i was talking with my friend the other day and we discussed how things are turning around.
When humans appeared they probably ate insects for proteins, now they have started to promote this again in order to reduce the needs for livestock.
In old times, the rich didnt want to get exposed in the sun, all because the peasants were sunburned by working in the fields and the rich prefered white bread which was easier to digest, than the cheap bread the peasant ate, the one they could produce themselves.
Now the rich like sunbathing and eat the old times bread (wholewheat bread, rye, oat etc). But now this kind of breads are the expensive ones.
