Bitcoin's hash rate dropped by 40% yesterday. Not sure why. Some speculate a Chinese Mining farm went offline.

Good point, but what has been damaged is the concept that if you buy crypto, the security is unbreakable.

Only the gullible truly believe anything is forever unbreakable. Things will adapt, equilibrium will be found.

Blockchain, and BTC, is still better than the current system. Perhaps QC will be what makes the chain nearly invincible? QC can cut both ways.

That said, we all know this is a speculative market. Big balls, and a strong stomach is needed. Also, I do not suggest margin trading, or putting more than 10% of what you have set aside for higher risk equity trading into cryptos.

I dropped 2k into BTC awhile back, for the opposite reason, as a hedge in case people started trading money to make real bitcoin. There is that tipping point where it gains enough traction, and it came damn close once already.
