It’s coon hunting season here. The baying of the hounds, the sound of small caliber rifle fire nearby and then fading away fast, and the crisp chill of the late night air always tells me fall is here. It’s tradition around these parts. I don’t have any coon hounds so I let coon hunters use my land, never worried about stray shots.
