So many animals seem to know just what I'm thinking, feeling, & saying. They are not "dumb animals" as some say. Assuming all other life on earth are dumb automatons is an idiot's way of coping with the full scope of reality and the consequences of their actions. |

Reptile owners, chime in on your snakes and lizards if they evidence warmth against the cold shoulder of the world. Thanks, OP, affirmation humans are not worthless is always good, and it takes the animals to affirm that. |

She enjoyed attention and played with us through the glass. She wasn't as friendly as these critters, but certainly nicer most people at the grocery. Some fish actually like to be pet. Koi and some types of ray come to mind. Science is actually just now admitting many fish are far more mentally complex than we've given them credit for to date. A local pet store had a small tropical something-or-other I can't remember now, but it loved attention. It stuck its face out of the water and spat streams of water to get your attention and then let you rub it on the head. Would do all these funny rolls and flips for you when you came over. AHA found em, check this out: |
