Re: CEO's going down
Big corporations are bankrupt and the rats are leaving the ships.

How can all these be bankrupt?
Wheres all the money they earn?
Taken out the backdoor bye their leadership?
 Quoting: Fyllefanten

It used to be illegal for a company to buy back its own stock.

Now it is legal again and its the only source of buying going on in the stock market.

They call it returning value to shareholders. (the rich get richer)

Those profits should be used as investments to spur innovation and to increase productivity.

Now it is used by top level lawmakers to pad their pockets and their buddies too.
This is the mechanics of the modern swamp.
Make the stock purchase, make the law, rake in the cash...
Now, do it again, again, then pass it on to the next lifelong politician whom you will have in your pocket.

The swamp and all of its glory...
And we are funding the whole damn thing.

It's the board of directors that are screwing everyone up... like Campbell's, Gillette, and now Matel.. whoever is behind all of this has an oligarchy on stocks of major US companies with seats on the boards.

They are putting in place liberal globalists CEOs that do not only care about stock holder value but about socialist ideals. Technically this is against the law!

Fed buying debt is no inflationary, it just prevents debt deflation. The inflation occurs when debt is created in the first place. What are people buying with loans. Houses and stocks. Hence the inflation in house and stock prices. Fed will have to buy all mortgage debt and stock shares to prevent debt deflation

Maybe if they would stop paying CEO's MILLIONS of dollars in pay, they could earn a profit.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23531633

Precisely.
Seriously doubt any of these former CEOs are going to live in poverty now, they've feathered their nest and have their good old boy network to keep them working under the radar.

Nope. Probably all have nice homes like the Bush family does in Argentina.

Re: CEO's going down
CEOs are not the top of a corporate food chain. They are expendable. They are the ones that take the heat of any corporate backlash.

The board of directors is the meat and potatoes of a corporation, they hire and fire CEOs at their discretion.

A CEO taking heat is to sooth, first and foremost, the stock holders, then for any legal actions that may arise by another individual, corporation and/or Government law. And then finally for public outcry so people can point a finger at someone.

Regarding Juul - they've been targeted and harassed because illegally made vaping products that they had no hand in. Commies are on the war path against vaping.
In his poem Human Pride, Marx admits that his aim is not to improve the world, reform or revolutionize it, but simply to ruin it and enjoy it being ruined:

With disdain I will throw my gauntlet full in the face of the world,
And see the collapse of this pygmy giant whose fall will not stifle my ardor.
Then will I wander godlike and victorious through the ruins of the world
And, giving my words an active force, I will feel equal to the Creator.

That makes sense and they get sent off with their golden parachute so it's all good for everyone concerned.
