Anonymous Coward User ID: 30776013 Canada 09/26/2019 09:44 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Have you seen the CBC's "Vote Compass"? The wise ones at CBC set up some questions you can answer and CBC will tell you who you should vote for. So I was bored and since I helped pay for this BS I did the quiz for shits and giggles. I answered the questions taking right from the PPC platform When I was done my dot ended up just a little right of center the Liberals, NDP and Greens far to my left, the conservatives on the right. But PPC isn't on the graph because they "didn't participate". WTF?? They made their platform public before any of the others!! Is the CBC incapable of downloading their platform and pasting it to their program? It asks you to rate the parties and leaders. I rated Justin, the Liberals, Scheer, the Conservatives, the Greens, Jagmeet and the NDP a zero. Since May is slightly saner than the others, I gave her a 1 and I gave PPC and Max a 10. According to the wisdom of the CBC I am 61% in line with the Conservatives, 45% in line with the Liberals and 0% percent with the NDP and Greens. How does that even make sense? Why did they leave Max and the PPC off the "compass"?? I guess because if you rate their platform the narrative that Max and the PPC are far right falls apart and they are afraid Max may be more popular than they want everyone to think. How is this not interference in the election? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 30776013 Canada 09/26/2019 10:18 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I don't have a problem with a pipeline, but not where they want to put it. With so many communities in BC totally fucked by closing of mines and forestry jobs, I would totally support moving it out of a residential neighborhood and taking it through towns that desperately need the jobs and economic activity. Instead of using the port of Vancouver, why not develop Prince Rupert, or some abandoned community on the central coast? The current pipeline ends at Burnaby Mountain, Simon Fraser University is just above it, residential neighborhoods all around it. What most people don't know is that there is a dangerous fault capable of a 7 magnitude in Burrard inlet, on the north side of Burnaby Mountain. |

Rupert makes way more sense than running it to Van area and they do got a decent fairly sheltered port already sure the people up there would LOVE the jobs it would bring |
