Both the Dems and GOP have created China as active participants. They gave them the industrial might and the pollution that came with it. This was all orchestrated by the lawmakers of the USA. Lots of people made easy money from the original trade deals they included China on. Communism was actually a net benefit to this inclusion and transition of the worlds industrial base for those who profited from it.

But the model is too good. Chinese government backed business beats the shit out of the rest of the worlds business even when they re not as good at doing something or as efficient and profitable. It is easy street to take a Chinese business to the fortune 500 compared to taking one there from anywhere else in the world. The playing field is rigged for China.

It allowed them to boom quickly but the rug was always going to come out. It is a Bipartisan thing to start reigning in China just like it was to let them boom in the first place. They thought maybe capitalism would infect the Chinese through business. Communism though is showing its muscles though as a communist business model is kicking ass on a capitalist playing field. Other countries should be thinking very hard about backing their own businesses like the Chinese do if the USA doesn't reel them in on it now.
