Re: Free Will and those that don't have it - NPCs
Those that do not believe in Free Will might just actually not have it because they cannot fathom how it could exist so therefore they are operating on a series of cause and effect and don't realize there is no reason for cause and effect to exist in the first place.

The weird part is they seem hellbent on trying to convince autonomous free willed beings that they are not what they obviously see they are.

They try to turn free willed people into NPCs. In essence they are trying to kill their souls.. very interesting indeed.

To be free means that you, and you alone, are ultimately responsible for your actions. People are willing to give up that responsibility for the comfort it gives them to be able to blame someone else for the failures.

You don’t choose your body, personality, and disposition. They are a product of genes and childhood experience. At what age does a person become fully responsible for their actions? 12? 18? 21? 35?

And you know this how? Is it comforting to not believe in yourself. To blame your parents or your genes for all the ill?

I wonder if you are happy with those beliefs?

Maybe it doesn't really matter what is true or not. Maybe it doesn't matter what is after the veil. Maybe all that matters is that you believe. Maybe belief in free will is THE start.

You didn’t address the question. How can a person be responsible for choices made without complete knowledge of the situation? None of us has complete knowledge of the situation at hand. Are you saying that it’s more important to do what you believe is right than to do what would result in a better outcome for all concerned parties?

In fact, I believe in God, and I believe his forgiveness is without limit, precisely because it is absolutely impossible for any mortal to fully understand the consequences of ANY choice. Maybe you decide to change the radio station at the wrong time and it results in a car crash that kills a three year old ten minutes later. Maybe you get drunk and kill a three year old in a crash that would’ve grown up to be a serial killer. You have NO WAY TO KNOW. All any of us can do is try to be good and hope for the best.

NPC is just the latest label for what the ancients referred to as a philosophical zombie.

basically it is those who cant think for themselves and must rely on others to tell them what is right vs wrong.

If there is free will, then it would manifest spontaneously as action. The problem is finding the personal experience where this spontaneity has occurred in one’s past.

A frustration arises when one finds none or too few examples of free-will in actual action. We are all a little NPC until we’re not...if ever.

I chose to respond to op’s concept...programming says I would; free will says I chose to speak rather then keep quiet.

NPCs is as organic as PCs but without a soul..

.. therefore no Spirit, no life and no highly evolved beings aka old soul.

No second sights, no sixth sense and cannot comprehend nor understand anything Holy is why they need something to believe in, such as engraved image and idols.

Neither can they ever be Holy is why you should never give anything Holy to dogs [Mankind].

And do not dare cast your pearl before Zionist shines lest they may turned to trampled and rend you apart again.. oh wait, too late for that.. again.

But my god, they like to kick and scream when you try and tell them they have free will. They will pull every excuse out of the book in denying free will.

Kind of like religion, there is a sky spirit with absoulute power, kind of makes everything in this reality easier to swallow, except it doesn't ... it makes it so much worse to remove self accountability and self determination.

Poor suckers...they don't even realize the misery they are heaping on their own heads.

The illusion of not being responsible for yourself is such an alluring lie. Just being able to speak a few words to someone and being absolved of that karmic responsibility must also be alluring, and just as dangerous in the long run.

Only those with light in them shall overcome anathema.

Lest they become free will zombies on bath salts..

Angels have no free will and so it goes to say demons don't either since demons are fallen angels....in fact it is believed that Satan/lucifer/the devil... whatever and his demonic minions hate humans for that very reason because true humans have free will. Perhaps NPCs are possessed by these non free will demons. I have found that if you wish to shutdown or at least upset an NPC is to ask it why it does what it does...ask it what is it's purpose for its post...Trumphate...etc..just like the famous vid...ask "why" and they lose it...swearing....hitting if close enough. It reminds them that they are NPCs when they can't answer. Its true. I do it all the time and almost always get the same result. The question "Why" can only be answered by free will since it involves making choices which requires free will. A scripted NPC just does the script....they don't know why.

Ha, and even though of us that do believe in free will, for everyone, how many of us decide based on the spirit and not based on simple material urges from this physical host we travel in?

How many out there can separate their inner voice from the wants of the flesh. Even though we all possess free will doesn't mean we are a step above a zombie.

Most of us are slaves to our flesh. But we still have free will in all choices.

did you see the NPC levels vid I posted? unfortunately there are many people these days that cant think for themselves effectively. mostly due to only being taught what to think and not how to think.

Re: Free Will and those that don't have it - NPCs
Prideful idiots who cannot perceive 10 feet in front of their own face because of their own blindness believe they have free-will.

If you had a will that was free of God's knowledge and power then you yourself would be a god, capable of creation.

Turns out, you're not a god. You do not have the ability to create or destroy, but only modify what was here before you were born. Never in the history of man or angels has any being created by God ever created or destroyed.

Every moment of every day and every emotion of piece of knowledge you have ever gain was because Yahweh designed you before you were born. Meaning you don't have a will that is free of the confines of his creativity of definitions.

The very fact that you were born in the way that every other human was born is first and main testimony that you are not in control. He chose your eyes by way of gene combination and expression which he made before you were born.
He chose your skin color.
He chose your parents or lack thereof.
He chose your country.
He gave your soul(flesh) breathe and made you living.
He chose your first language.
He chose your body type.
He chose your sex.
He chose your career path or lack thereof.
He chose to love or hate you and your destiny therein.

And all of these things have led up to this moment of you prideful idiots believing that you have free-will apart from his design. Blind people....how can you now see how truly weak you are?!
