If it's more than the spare money we have, back into the hat it goes. if there are recurrent bills, contact PAN Patient Access Network Foundation I have seen PAN take over the co-pays on medicines ENTIRELY. This happens any time the co-pay is over 50 dollars. I will post their phone number in a minute. They may do a LOT more than that. The benefit given was 4,000 to be used as needed for any copay over $50. The patient does not see the 4,000 dollars, but co-pays are covered til that amount is exhausted. Then you ask for more. Look up the websites. Like Pfizer. They have programs. Also try the goodRX app. They have negotiated prices. And always check with the pharmacy. Sometimes there is a generic that might be cheaper if not ran through insurance. Or they might know a local charity too. |
