They tried several times last week to use the graph. The first time they drew a large clot out of it. The next treatment which was Thursday they got one side to work but not the other. So they ran him with one needle in the Graph and one in the chest port. Same thing Saturdays treatment. Today they couldn't use the graph because it was swollen and bruised. We have an appointment with the Cardiologist tomorrow. He did have great day Sunday, he went to Griffin Ga, with his cousin and uncle. They took him to visit his Grandpa. He got a big surprise when he got there. Grandpa ((wife's Father) had some gifts for him. A Brand new Beretta 9mm pistol A 1972 44 mag Revolver , frontier style and a Winchester 62 pump action 22 rifle. He was a happy boy. There is really nothing new to tell you guys, we are doing the routine, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The Graph in Dakotas arm is holding up so far and its being used instead of the chest port. There still has been no indication as when that will be removed. We have a new addition to our family. Dakota got a Parakeet (Budgerigar) its a baby, Green one. He's got it fairly tame real fast, sits on his hands and eats from his hand. Little sucker bites me when I stick my hand in the cage. Something to occupy his time with. We also want to extend our condolences to Beeches, we lost one of our extended Dialysis Family members with the passing of her Husband. Thread: beeches lost her husband today. Sad condolences. Thank you for the good update. You have no idea how needed it was for me today. I'll bet Dakota is having a blast with his parakeet. My gramma used to have them. They were all named Pretty Boy. She only had one at a time. The first one I got her was really smart and he learned to "talk". I went to the same pet store some years later to get her a new one. He was an ok bird, but nowhere as smart as the 1st one. The only thing I remember about them is if the stripe across it's beak is a darkish blue, it's a male. If it's more whiteish, it's a female. I also remember having to clean the cage for her. Stopped me a bunch of times from getting a bird. That and the cats and dogs we already had! LOL |

Im pretty sure its a male but still too young to tell for certain. He is a real chatty one and listens real close when we speak to him. We have a mixture of seed and pellet we are feeding him now so the hulls mess is not to bad. We watch a bunch of action movies and when he hears gunfire he gets very loud with the squeaking lol. And hes smart, hes already opened one of the cage doors so we have clothes pins on them now. Last Edited by BBQ BOY™ on 07/22/2020 03:48 PM "Never underestimate the pain of a person.
