Oh my word BBQboy. I'm just seeing this news, prayers sent up. You all have been through so much. A spontanious collapsed lung - how terrifying! I am glad she is doing better.

As for inflating the lung - inserting a chest tube will drain any fluid or air which has accumulated and automatically re-inflates the lung. What caused the lung to collapse in the first place will need to be addressed. I hope it isn't anything serious.
