You are not alone! I don't know how anyone is coping daily without prayer. It does seem plausible that 'demons have been released'. Stand up for right, pray, do good - as you probably already do. I believe the book of Hosea well may perfectly reflect America today... The encouraging part is they returned to the Lord early in their troubles.

Me, I grew up in the same time period. Came from an extremely dysfunctional family. Maybe that's where I learned to adapt to the environment so well.

My advice, go outside tonight. Look up at the sky. Hold your arms straight out to your sides close your eyes and take a deep, deep breath. Slowly exhale and as you do that, slowly close your arms as if hugging everything that is, and in your mind embrace the confusion and chaos! Do not become it or contribute to it but accept it and adapt to it. Understand?

Where are the Families?

Everyone seems to themselves. People may have a close nit small group, but overall things seem quite isolated between peoples.

And to make an assumption it appears to be mainly Western people who are the ones that are isolating themselves. I see people from other parts of the World who are as unified as can be and I am shocked to see this in a modern era with all its filth.

Have certain peoples been targeted? Even though this is a Global issue, manly people are still living life like Normal, or so it seems. And when I say normal I mean, Family structure, Men mainly working, Women and Men going to college getting and seeking high level jobs.

I see a sense of despair in other people. A sense of ignoring whats right in front of you. Its like turning your head when a neighbor arrives as if you dont notice or hear them at all. No sign of Greetings.

Some people are living "Normal" but others are simply living something I cant even explain for a life.

I agree. There will always be people who are hurting, but where I live, people seem pretty optimistic. Please turn off the TV and put down the newspaper for a while. You won't miss much. I have two teenagers and I work at the local high school. I don't see any Greta Thornberg types. There's a few emo kids, but for the most part, they act normal.

Most people here have jobs. My husband has had a major raise and I am employed after being out of work for 5 years. My son is looking for work, but he's got some applications out and is hopeful. I talk to a lot of other parents and haven't heard any panic.

Don't fall for the propaganda. Some people are on edge but I try not to associate with them if they are seeking to harm me or drag me down.

You're so right. For the average person out there it's a lot to digest with all the "goings-on" involving all things political in your country currently(and especially in regards to aspects surrounding the 2016 election).

I mean to say it must be very emotionally draining at times for you American citizens to actually work out what the heck the BIG PICTURE really is all about.

One thing I can assure you is that there are plenty of knowledgeable folk here that can point us in the right direction towards a "treasure-trove" of actual facts and truth surrounding all this political stuff. Personally I usually go to GLP, in the first instance, and then check things out from there....that way I avoid all the "noise" of the "fake news" and the liberal/democrat lies & deception that is out there.
