I remember Sukkot and the Feast of tabernacles as a child. It was a very pleasant memory for me. Although I was not Jewish, there was a Jewish family who lived nearby and a Synagogue just up the street where I lived. As a poor French boy, the food that was in the booth was absolutely heaven for someone who had never seen some of these foods. I suspect the Rabbi knew that there were missing fruit and vegetables along the way.

The Jewish people, themselves, were very aloof and standoffish. Being very rich in a poor environment (everyone was poor), does something to people. There were very few good memories of them except for one very beautiful girl with jet black hair and living in a mansion. And, only one male ever was a friend of mine. He eventually killed himself as a young man. He was a great guy. I missed him.

The entire Feast testifies to the fact that we are strangers upon this earth. This is not our home. We are travelers in a strange land and somehow know that we must find a way off this planet. The Scriptures testify to this and the necessity to "find God." They tell us to "go ye out to meet Him", and give us a mountain of information that has totally been spiritualized away. One person had to be picked in a myriad of ways down through the centuries to keep man on the straight and narrow. We are constantly being shuffled along so that we may prepare for what it coming--and it is not good. The heavens are to come crashing down upon us and we are constantly being prepared--from thousands of years ago.

As far as the Pope having ANYTHING to do with prophecy is only in the sense of what HE fulfills. The Pope will go the way of history. EVERYTHING will be revealed and exposed. Religion, itself, will go through an amazing transformation process. We are in the very time for it. This is why there is such turmoil in the world. We are going through a world-changing paradigm--much like the freedom of the Jewish people from Egypt.
